In 2024, the following roles within the English Party are up for election:

• Chair of the English Party
• English Council Executive Committee (12 places)
• Chair of the English Candidates Committee
• English Candidates Committee (5 Places)
• English Party Representatives to the Liberal Democrat Women Executive

All roles are for a two year term, save for the representative to Liberal Democrat Women Executive, which will be a 1 year term.

The roles of Chair of the English Candidates Committee and English Party Representatives to the Liberal Democrat Women Executive are open to any member of the Liberal Democrats in England. All other roles are open to members of the English Council. Please download the form and ensure all parts are completed before returning to elections@englishlibdems.org.uk.
Nominations for all positions close at 12 noon on Friday 1st November 2024. Any nomination papers received after this time will not be considered.

The electorate for these elections will be the 150 members of the English Council, a body made up of representatives from each region in England. The ballot will open on Friday 8th November and close a week later. Find out who's on the English Council here.

Nominations Open: 15th October
Nominations Close: 1st November
Voting Opens: 8th November
Voting Closes: 15th November

The results will be announced on 18th November, after all candidates have been informed.
